Student challenge:  Results are in!!  See how OT students celebrated OT Month

Emory & Henry College:

Watch their video!

Radford MOT:

"At Radford University, our MOT program on our main campus celebrated OT month by hosting a clothing and hygiene drive for a local middle school, as well as setting up a table in the lobby of a busy dining hall. At the table we offered free coffee and chatted about OT with those who stopped and walked by. We also wrote little phrases and facts about OT on the cups we used to hand out the coffee."

Tidewater Community College:

"The members of our SOTA club including myself put together a carnival day for our classmates to show our appreciation. It included games, prizes and a potluck for our class. I have attached a video along with descriptions of our activities and what they are tied to in function. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did playing it.  Class of 2025!!!! I think we nailed it!!!"  Watch the video.

Virginia Commonwealth University:

Innovate, Educate, Celebrate: VCU's OT Month Showcase! The VCU OT program’s students, staff, and faculty were eager to celebrate OT month through several events and initiatives! The VCU Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) joined together, and with the perspectives of fellow peers, planned several interactive activities— including information booths, guest speakers, spirit week, interprofessional journal club, and more. All activities centered around spreading awareness about OT, celebrating its uniqueness, and advancing the profession. Review a description of each activity along with pictures.
